Corporate Safety Manager

We are currently hiring a Corporate Safety Manager. You will be working for a fun, friendly, and positive work environment in our client’s downtown office 4 days a week.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Recommend improvements in existing and future processes pertaining to health and safety measures and guidelines
  • Implement processes, standard procedures, work methods, safety programs for employees
  • Develop ways to ensure accurate and updated data and file on the system
  • Follow and enforce Canadian environment and safety laws
  • Investigate accidents or issues and concerns to identify root cause and develop safer practices in the workplace (office/oil field)
  • Evaluate workplace environment, equipment, and practices to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine gaps in programs and ensure smooth transition or changes if required
  • Prepare reports and utilize tools and current system efficiently to aid workflow
  • Exceed expectations and apply time management to hit deadlines
  • Manage the day to day tasks and assist and guide production/operations team
  • Contribute to the overall team productivity and organizational goal


  • At least 10 years experience working directly for oil and gas production companies
  • Knowledge in developing HSE and ERP programs
  • Knowledge in reporting requirements such as NPRI, TIER, MSAPR, and possesses H2S Alive Certification
  • Experience with database, compliance, spreadsheet, and presentation software
  • Can start ASAP
  • Willing to submit to a background check
  • Can provide 2-3 professional references

Salary: 85,000 annually

Schedule: 4 day workweek
